Beginning in 2027, the venue, globally recognized as the home of the Academy Awards, will transition toward on-site renewable energy supported by solar generation and battery energy storage systems designed to improve energy resilience, operational reliability, and long-term sustainability.
The deployment will support operations across several major entertainment venues and mixed-use properties including the Dolby Theatre, the TCL Chinese Theatre, the Theater Box complex in San Diego, and future expansion opportunities within the Ovation Hollywood development.
